Terms and conditions

Please read these terms carefully before engaging Massiah Enterprise for any services. By requesting a quote or proceeding with a service engagement, you agree to these terms.

1. About us

Massiah Enterprise is a registered steel reinforcement services business based in Barbados. These terms govern our relationship with clients who engage us for steel bending, cutting, and fixing services.

2. Quotes and estimates

  • All quotes provided by Massiah Enterprise are free and non-binding until accepted in writing by both parties.
  • Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. Changes to project scope, specifications, or site conditions may result in revised pricing.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

3. Client responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for ensuring that accurate project drawings, specifications, and bar bending schedules are provided before work begins.
  • The client must ensure safe and timely site access for our team where on-site steel fixing is required.
  • The client is responsible for supplying the required materials (steel/rebar) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Any delays caused by inaccurate information or unavailability of materials may affect project timelines and costs.

4. Payment terms

  • Payment terms will be agreed upon before work commences and outlined in the project quote or agreement.
  • Massiah Enterprise reserves the right to pause or discontinue services in the event of non-payment.
  • Any disputes regarding invoices must be raised in writing within 7 days of receipt.

5. Workmanship and standards

We commit to delivering all services with skill, care, and professionalism. Our work is carried out in accordance with standard construction practices applicable in Barbados. Any concerns regarding completed work must be raised in writing within 14 days of completion.

6. Limitation of liability

Massiah Enterprise is not liable for any structural failures, defects, or losses arising from inaccurate specifications, drawings, or instructions provided by the client or any third party. Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided under the relevant agreement.

7. Cancellations

If a project is cancelled after work has commenced, the client will be invoiced for work completed up to the point of cancellation, plus any costs reasonably incurred in preparation for the project.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Barbados. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Barbados.

9. Changes to these terms

Massiah Enterprise reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
